1. The applicant must have passed 10+2 examination in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from a recognized board or university or its equivalent.
  2. An applicant for an aircraft maintenance engineer’s license shall be at least 18 years of age.
  3. Diploma in Aeronautical, Mechanical, Electrical and Electronics engineering recognized by state technical education board shall be considered as equivalent qualification.
  4. To prove the equivalence to 10+2, the applicant is required to submit a certificate from a competent authority such as Association of Indian Universities (AIU).
  5.  The applicant should be physically fit.
