Admission Procedure for Indraprasth Institute of Aeronautics (IIA)

How to Apply:

B.Sc. in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering

Step 2: Check Eligibility Criteria

Before applying, make sure you meet the eligibility criteria for your chosen course:

Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (AME)

Age: 17 to 30 years

Educational Qualification: 12th pass with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics or a 3-year Engineering Diploma.

Aerospace & Aeronautical Engineering

Age: 17 to 30 years

Educational Qualification: 12th pass with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics or equivalent.

B.Sc. in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering

Age: 17 to 30 years

Educational Qualification: 12th pass with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.

B.Sc. in Aviation

Age: 17 to 30 years

Educational Qualification: 12th pass with any stream.

Step 3: Register Online

To apply for your chosen course at IIA, you need to complete the online registration:

  • Visit the official IIA website: www.iiagurgaon.com
  • Go to the Admissions section and click on Apply Now.
  • Fill in the application form with your personal details, educational qualifications, and course preferences.

Step 4: Submit Required Documents

Along with your application form, make sure to upload the following documents:

  • Photocopy of 12th Marks Sheet (for Class 12 students).
  • Aadhar Card (for identity verification).
  • Passport-size Photograph (6 copies).
  • Character Certificate from the school/college (if applicable).
  • Medical Certificate (for the AMEEE Exam and general health verification).
  • Proof of Age (Birth Certificate or 10th-grade certificate).
  • Transfer Certificate from the previous institution (if applicable).

Step 5: Pay Registration Fees

After submitting the application form, candidates need to pay the registration fee to complete the application process. The fee can be paid through:

  • Online Payment: Via credit/debit card, net banking, or UPI.
  • Demand Draft: Payable to Indraprasth Institute of Aeronautics, Gurgaon.

The registration fee is ₹500, which is non-refundable.

Step 6: Entrance Examination (AMEEE)

For programs like Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (AME), students must appear for the AME Entrance Examination (AMEEE), which assesses knowledge in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.

  • Registration Date: Starting from January 2025.
  • Examination Date: To be announced.
  • Mode: Objective Type Questions (100 questions, no negative marking).
  • Exam Language: Available in Hindi and English.

Step 7: Interview and Counseling

Once you clear the entrance exam (if applicable), you’ll attend an interview and counseling session. This helps us understand your aspirations and ensure the best course fit.

  • The interview is conducted by a panel of senior faculty members.
  • After the interview, you will be informed about your admission status.

Step 8: Admission Confirmation

After the interview, selected candidates will receive an admission offer letter from IIA. To confirm your admission:

  • Pay the required fee (as per the fee structure) to secure your seat.
  • Submit any additional documents requested by the institution.
  • Complete the orientation process to get familiar with the campus and academic guidelines.

Step 9: Join the Course

After confirming your admission, attend the orientation session and begin your journey at IIA:

  • Commencement of Classes: As per the schedule in your admission letter.
  • Get access to world-class training facilities and hands-on learning modules from day one.
