AME is a job profile with high dignity and high responsibility. Owing to the high standards of safety and security, the entire course towards Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Licenses is governed by Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), Govt. of India. After successful completion of three years basic AME course (which consist of 2½ year of theoretical & practical training + 06 months on the job training on fully operational aircrafts, one gets the Basic AME License (BAMEC) from DGCA.
